Our story

Why BranditScan exists

BranditScan was started by people who watched piracy from the inside — including a founder who built one of the most visited video platforms on the internet. We kept seeing the same story on repeat: a creator's paid content leaks, fans drift to the free copies, and the income that took years to build starts bleeding away.

The tools to fight back existed, but they were priced for studios and staffed like law firms. Independent creators were left choosing between chasing leaks by hand or paying agency retainers for slow, manual takedowns.

So we automated the whole pipeline — scanning, evidence, takedowns, delistings, follow-ups — and priced it for the people who actually needed it. Today BranditScan protects everyone from independent creators to the biggest names in the industry, run from our home base near Montreal with teams in the United States and Barbados.
